Portrait format photograph of the Table for the Nation which is shown in the foreground stretching in perspective to the upper edge of the picture plane. Along either side of the table we see the roundels laid all along. On the right side are depictions of Christ with his disciples, on the other are roundels of other key people relating to the Christ story, such as the evangelists etc. In the centre of the table are clusters of reproduction Roman pottery of the era. The roundel painting of the Madonna is placed at the head of the table.

From The Artist

It was a wonderful challenge to be lead artist on this amazing project which involved 18 artists from Kent. The work took six months to complete and each artist worked separately but communicated with me and the founder of Spirit Arts, Elizabeth Mellen. The concept was entirely hers but I was able to make some decisions such as what to include on the opposite side of the table to Christ and his disciples at the Last Supper. This installation was shown during the Easter period.
