Jane Furst uses sketchbooks for different purposes. For example the first image shows a sketchbook where ideas for mezzotint etchings are developed. Other sketchbooks are for plant or museum studies, portraits etc.
Importantly Jane Furst always takes a sketchbook when travelling abroad to capture images and ideas.
