Two blank etching plates are printed together with dry point cut outs laid upon them.  They are square in format.  When printed like this there is an embossed edge from the plate.  These are cross sections of Marine Cucumber's.  The image on the left is printed in dark sepia and looks mechanical.  The image on the right is printed in two hues of blue and red, it has a more floral mechanical look to it.  They both resemble wheels.

These are very early works in my journey into etching using the cut out dry point technique.  I am once again uses images from Ernst Haeckel's marine studies.
