Landscape format panel with hard and soft elements as a frieze. The colour is silver, grey and black in metallic finishes. The design is inspired by a 19th century illustration of a spider.
Within a central section is a pyramid shaped interplay of these metallic forms, radiating spindly spokes from the base.
There is a detail at the apex of the pyramid, drawn onto the flat surface suggesting two eyes and a head. The colours of these details are red and yellow with metallic protrusions.

This is the key piece which inspired my Impossible Textiles Series.
