Portrait format watercolour with decorative gold leaf border. From the base of the border a stem arises which opens out to a lime green compartmentalised pod. The structure reveals flutes bonded together. There are twelve of these elongated compartments from which arise thin spiralling tendrils. This green image is set against an undulating purple background.

In all these pod paintings there is also a celebratory motivation which led me to record these particular bits of nature I found. Here we see the pod almost dancing with its twirling many tendril arms rising up towards the sky.
